Clausentum

Clausentum Morris are a Morris side based in Southern England, we currently practise in Oxford and perform at Day of Dances and festivals all over the country. Clausentum is a mixed dance side meaning anyone can join in the fun. We dance Cotswold Morris (the one with hankies, bells and sticks), mainly performing dances in the style of Fieldtown, Bampton, Hinton and Upton. We started in November 2014 as a group of Morris dancers who wanted a young, mixed Cotswold side based in Southampton. As more members graduated, and left the area, we decided that we wanted to continue to dance together and find a more central location – Oxford.
