Belle D’Vain is a vibrant and dynamic Ladies Northwest Morris side, affectionately known as the ‘girls with the twirls.’ Our name, inspired by the Evesham plum ‘Belle de Louvain,’ reflects our roots and connection with one of the traditional fruits grown in the Vale of Evesham, Worcestershire.
Our kit draws from the colours of our namesake (leafy trees bearing fruit with purple skin and yellow flesh), giving us a striking appearance wherever we dance.
Our dance style brings energy, precision and sharp movements from a mixture of traditional and contemporary Northwest repertoire, superbly supported by our musicians.
