This from the editor of Practical Motorhome Magazine, in the December 2009 issue - Warwick was the Festival of Fun
"...And finally this month, my award for (probably) The Best Festival Campsite 2009 has to go to Warwick Folk Festival - I paid a trip there earlier this year in our funky purple Danbury, and had a fantastic time. The music itself (including Kate Rusby, Eric Bogle and Mabon) was of course brilliant, but it was the excellent facilities that really made the weekend so fantastic. With the Festival set in the grounds of Warwick School, campers are able to make the most of hot showers and heated toilet blocks, hardstanding pitches, on-site catering and even the school's indoor swimming pool. A free festival bus into the centre of Warwick, where some of the events are held, meant that you could leave your 'van on site for the whole weekend. A camping extension to a weekend ticket costs was just £10.00.
