Campsite
PLEASE NOTE: Camping is restricted to weekend ticket holders only. The campsite does not open to the public until 10:00am on Friday 25th July and must be vacated by noon on Monday 28th July.
Located within the beautiful grounds of Warwick School and with facilities including hot showers, an indoor swimming pool and on-site catering, the festival campsite is widely regarded as one of the best in the country. See a panoramic view of the campsite during the 2008 festival.
Situated within easy walking distance of town centre venues and shops (or you can use the free festival shuttle bus service), the festival campsite is located on a flat and open playing field - the perfect pitch even for the first-time camper. With most of the festival's principal venues based on and around the campsite, you're never more than a short walk away from the craic, but for those who enjoy a more relaxing weekend, there is a 'quiet area' set aside on the field.
As Warwick Folk Festival is based on a school site, and the festival campsite and concert marquee are both on the school's playing fields, we have to accept and respect the ban on dogs imposed by the school. The Festival Committee feels certain that visitors will understand that the ban is in place for health and safety reasons, and that it applies to the whole school grounds.
There are also pub sessions, concerts and dance performances at locations throughout Warwick town centre and a featured concert in the Market Square on Saturday evening, so it gives our visitors an extra opportunity to take in the wonderful atmosphere of Warwick.
